CUURA was founded by Malaysia’s Modest Multilabel Fashion House ( MODVIER ) founder, Sarah Shah Nor to fill a void in the market for a range of skin care products that highlights the benefits of purely natural ingredients.
CUURA products are mainly handmade locally and the ingredients are sourced from all over the world ethically and proven organic at source. Our first product, the Pure Beauty Oil which is a blend of premium oils targeting skin repairing and holding on to the principles of, “ if you don’t want to eat it, why put it on your skin, that’s how natural we are”.
They also wanted a fuss free routine that was not only going to actively help their skin but was good value for money. CUURA is proud to offer products made from high-quality, pure and powerful ingredients sourced only from the best of nature, to help you look and feel beautiful and healthy.
Think of skin care products like you would think of food. In today’s world, there are a lot of synthetic, or “fake” ingredients used in food processing. But if you go to a high-end restaurant, you generally won’t find “fake” ingredients on the menu. Top chefs know that creating a top-quality meal requires top-quality, natural, fresh ingredients. They don’t use artificial flavors and powders in their cooking, because real spices and fresh herbs create a finer, more exquisite taste.
At CUURA , we believe creating skin care products is not any different. We do not cut corners and we take the time to research every ingredient so that we know for sure our products are the very best!
Handmade natural skin care products work better simply because they are better for the environment because organic farming eliminates the use of synthetic chemicals and fertilizers. Fertilizers and chemicals all have a destructive effect on our water, soil and health.
Naturally grown plants also do not have any genetically modified organisms (GMOs) as these may pose a significant threat to both human and environmental health. Therefore, through looking out for your own health, you’re also helping to protect our fragile ecosystem.
